Semi-private Dining Area

Commerical design melbourne

A dramatic corridor with backlit golden marble ceiling panels leads the eye toward a vertical marble feature wall, creating a sense of depth and grandeur. Along the path, intimate four-top tables with woven-back chairs and individual table lamps offer a refined, private dining atmosphere. On the left, a deep red timber screen adds both texture and separation, while on the right, mesh-like metal partitions subtly divide private rooms without disrupting visual flow. Large-format gray floor tiles and overhead recessed spotlights complete the moody, luxurious ambiance of the space.

Booth Seating Lounge with Textured Feature Wall

This seating zone offers a refined blend of comfort and contrast, where custom-upholstered white leather banquettes nestle beneath a dramatic black volcanic stone feature wall. A soft underglow beneath the seating subtly defines the base, giving the arrangement a floating effect while enhancing the spatial depth. The ceiling’s sculptural curves, accentuated by warm cove lighting, echo traditional Chinese architectural motifs, grounding the space in cultural reference. Paired with intimate table lamps and woven-back chairs, the area exudes warmth, balance, and quiet luxury—ideal for longer, more intimate dining moments.

Main Dining Area with Sculptural Marble Focal Wall

The main dining zone is anchored by a striking vertical slab of golden-veined marble—a sculptural statement piece that draws the eye and defines the space. Surrounding the centerpiece, circular tables draped in crisp white linens create a rhythm of understated elegance, while woven-back chairs maintain a sense of continuity throughout the design. The backdrop features vertically fluted black paneling, adding depth and contrast to the overall composition. Above, a textured ceiling and recessed lighting create an atmospheric glow, enhancing the intimacy of the setting. This area embodies balance—between drama and subtlety, tradition and modernity.

Signature Bar with Floating Glass Display

The bar at Magnolia Pavilion serves as both a visual centerpiece and a functional sculpture. Clad in bold, golden-veined marble, the bar counter grounds the space with richness and weight, while the custom-designed overhead shelving system appears to float effortlessly. Layers of curved glass and metal hold bottles and stemware in perfect symmetry, giving the installation a luxurious, almost architectural quality. The backdrop—volcanic textured stone—further enhances the ambiance, while warm underlighting draws subtle attention to form and materials. The bar is not just a place of service, but a design statement, embodying the fusion of refinement and modern opulence.
