Project Lume is a contemporary wellness interior located within Brandon Park Shopping Centre, defined by a restrained architectural language and a material-led design approach. A layered palette of microcement, soft stone, and Polytec melamine panelling is used throughout the space, with controlled lighting shaping atmosphere, depth, and spatial rhythm. The interior is conceived as a calm, immersive environment where proportion, texture, and subtle detailing work together to support a quiet, wellness-focused experience.

场景 16.png

The entrance is conceived as a deliberate architectural threshold, mediating between the public retail environment and the interior calm beyond. Polytec melamine panelling forms strong framing elements, while microcement walls and soft stone surfaces introduce texture and tactility at close range. Light is carefully recessed and concealed to soften edges and emphasise depth, guiding visitors inward through a controlled and composed spatial transition.

The cashier is designed as a discreet architectural element integrated into the overall material language rather than a dominant retail feature. Microcement finishes and soft stone surfaces are balanced with Polytec melamine panelling and vertical battens to establish rhythm, proportion, and visual order. Subtle lighting defines the counter volume and highlights material junctions, allowing the space to remain calm, understated, and aligned with the wellness-focused experience.

The common massage area is defined by a rhythmic composition of microcement walls, soft stone panels, and Polytec melamine surfaces, forming a layered and tactile interior environment. Integrated vertical lighting and suspended feature pendants are used to shape atmosphere, highlight material transitions, and create a calm, enveloping spatial experience suited to shared wellness use.

  Key design considerations include:

  • Layered use of microcement, soft stone, and Polytec melamine to create depth and tonal variation

  • Vertical lighting integrated within wall planes to emphasise rhythm and material junctions

  • Suspended feature pendants providing focused, low-glare illumination

  • Seating layout designed to balance openness with privacy within a shared treatment space

  • A restrained colour palette supporting a calm, cohesive wellness environment

The passage to the private massage rooms is conceived as a quiet transition space, deliberately narrowing and softening the spatial experience after the openness of the common massage area. Microcement walls are paired with Polytec melamine joinery and subtle soft stone accents, creating a restrained and tactile backdrop that supports calm movement and acoustic separation. Integrated wall lighting and recessed ceiling fixtures provide low-glare illumination, guiding circulation while reinforcing privacy, enclosure, and a sense of retreat.

A calm, considered approach to wellness design within a contemporary retail environment.

Project Lume is a refined wellness interior designed by 10x Interiors, shaped by clear planning, material restraint, and controlled lighting. Through a consistent palette of microcement, soft stone, and Polytec melamine panelling, the project achieves a calm, cohesive environment within a contemporary commercial retail setting.
