Project Haven is a design-led residential renovation that reimagines everyday living through material continuity, warm tonal palettes, and integrated spatial planning.
Conceived as a calm urban retreat, the home adopts seamless microcement finishes, custom joinery, and concealed lighting to create a cohesive environment where architecture, interiors, and function merge as one.

From private spaces to shared living areas, each zone flows naturally into the next, forming a unified, grounded atmosphere that feels both intimate and enduring — a contemporary sanctuary designed for modern life.

At the centre of the home, an open-plan living and kitchen zone establishes the project’s spatial language of continuity and integration.
Custom joinery, full-height storage, and a sculptural shelving divider subtly define functions without interrupting flow, allowing living, dining, and working to coexist within one cohesive volume.

Warm timber cabinetry and monolithic finishes extend across floors, walls, and ceilings, reinforcing a seamless material palette that visually enlarges the space while maintaining a calm, grounded atmosphere. The result is a flexible, light-filled environment designed for everyday living, gathering, and retreat.

The kitchen is conceived as a monolithic volume, where joinery becomes architecture rather than furniture.
Full-height timber cabinetry conceals storage, appliances, and services behind flush, handleless panels, maintaining the project’s clean and uninterrupted spatial language.

A central island anchors the space both functionally and socially, supporting cooking, gathering, and everyday living within one unified gesture. Warm tones and continuous finishes extend across floors, walls, and cabinetry, dissolving visual boundaries and reinforcing a calm, cohesive environment.

Responding to contemporary patterns of living and working, the study area is seamlessly integrated within the open-plan layout rather than enclosed as a separate room.
A sculptural shelving divider gently defines zones while preserving light, sightlines, and spatial continuity, allowing work, relaxation, and daily living to coexist within one cohesive environment.

Custom joinery and warm material finishes ensure the workspace feels embedded within the architecture itself — not an addition — supporting flexibility without disrupting the home’s calm, unified atmosphere.

Set before the apartment’s floor-to-ceiling glazing, a backlit light-box wall filters daylight into a soft, diffused glow, forming a luminous backdrop that enhances privacy, depth, and ambience for focused work and everyday living.

The bedroom is conceived as a quiet retreat, where material continuity and soft lighting create a sense of calm enclosure.
Walls, floors, and ceilings are wrapped in the same warm, tactile finish, forming a seamless envelope that reduces visual noise and reinforces a grounded, cocoon-like atmosphere.

Low-profile furnishings, integrated storage, and concealed lighting maintain clean lines throughout the space, allowing rest and privacy to take precedence. Gentle daylight filtering through the glazing further softens the interior, transforming the room into a serene sanctuary for everyday retreat.

The bathroom continues the project’s language of material continuity, conceived as a seamless, monolithic retreat.
Microcement wraps floors, walls, and ceilings in a single warm-toned finish, dissolving edges and visual boundaries to create a calm, immersive environment.

Frameless glazing, integrated storage, and minimal fixtures maintain clarity and restraint, allowing light and texture to define the experience. The result is a quiet, spa-like space that prioritises comfort, privacy, and everyday wellness.

Defined by continuous microcement surfaces and warm tones, the interior reads as one unified spatial experience.

Throughout Project Haven, microcement acts as both material and medium — unifying architecture, interiors, and light into one continuous spatial language.
By removing visual boundaries and integrating living, working, and resting within a cohesive envelope, the home achieves a calm, grounded atmosphere that feels both contemporary and timeless.

The result is not simply a renovation, but a carefully crafted sanctuary designed for modern life.
